Job Description

is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with strong technical abilities and experience in Land Development.

The task assignments will include the following:

• Project Design for Site Development
• Grading and Drainage Plans
• Utility Systems for Water and Sewer
• Report Preparation and Master Planning Studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimates
• Project Management Assistance: Budgeting, Schedules, Client Care, Invoicing
• Design Team collaboration, and support
• Roadway/Streets final design package – Plan, Profile, Cross Sections
• Roadway Design: Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path Plans
• Federal, State, City and County Standards
• Report Preparation and Conceptual Studies
• preparation of Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs/Cost Estimates

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering;
• Professional Engineer License in Wisconsin.
• 4-8 years of experience in related site/civil land development engineering projects.
• Projects experience ranging from retail, commercial, residential, industrial and municipal.
• Possess local experience with private developments performing site due diligence, preparing land use permit applications, understanding of zoning laws and presenting to municipal agencies
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
• Must demonstrate a desire to learn;
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite applications;
