Job Description

Telyon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interconnection Manager to join our team in Old Saybrook, CT. The Interconnection Manager will support the Engineering and Project Management teams in overseeing the interconnection process for commercial and industrial solar projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage interconnection process for C&I solar projects across the U.S. from initial application to commercial operation
• Prepare and submit interconnection applications
• Track project milestones related to interconnection
• Ensure compliance with utility and regulatory requirements
• Negotiate interconnection agreements with utility companies
• Interface with both Engineering and Project Management Teams to support project full life cycle and close out
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the interconnection workflow

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years or more of direct experience in C&I solar with preference given to those with direct electric utility and ISO experience.
• Deep understanding of interconnection process, utility requirements, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency with filling out and submitting applications and agreements.
• Ability to read drawing single and three line diagrams.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage projects at once and communicate project status to a larger team.
